Metal Work India, a fully owned subsidiary of Metal Work SpA, Italy, was incorporated in September 2007 and became fully operational in March 2008. As part of a global group with over 61 subsidiaries worldwide, we bring decades of expertise and innovation to the Indian market.

Since its incorporation, Metal Work India has achieved significant milestones:

• 2009: Began cylinder assembly in India.
• 2010: Expanded to valve assembly.
• 2013: Implemented SAP B1, upgraded to the cloud version in 2021.
• 2019: Achieved ISO 9001:2015 certification.
• 2023: Relocated to a modern 20,000 sq. ft. facility.

Today, we operate through 4 branches, 3 residential offices, and a network of 20 authorized distributors, ensuring a robust presence across India.

Founded in 1967, Metal Work S.p.A. is the parent company of the Metal Work Group, with its manufacturing headquarters in Concesio (Brescia), Italy.

Metal Work S.p.A. designs and manufactures components, systems and technologies for industrial automation and motion control entirely in Italy. Italian manufacturing expertise, combined with technological research and the ability to develop innovative solutions, has always been one of the company's key distinguishing strengths.

Throughout its history, Metal Work S.p.A. has established a strong position in the industrial automation sector, developing a comprehensive product range covering the main families of:

The manufacturing facilities of Metal Work S.p.A. in Concesio (Brescia) currently employ more than 600 people. The Metal Work Group's Italian and international sales organisation comprises more than 800 people in total.

Italian manufacturing, combined with a direct presence in key international markets, enables the Group to combine industrial know-how, application expertise and close customer relationships.

Through its various companies, Metal Work provides expertise and solutions to machine builders, system integrators and industrial companies operating across different areas of automation.

Metal Work S.p.A. has been ISO 9001 certified since 1992, confirming its commitment to quality management across its processes and products.

In 2000, the company obtained ISO 14001 certification for its environmental management system. In 2007, it adopted the OHSAS 18001 standard for occupational health and safety management, which was subsequently replaced by ISO 45001 certification in 2019.

These certifications were issued by the German certification body DEKRA ITS, accredited by TGA.

Since 2016, Metal Work has also been part of ELITE, the programme launched by Borsa Italiana in collaboration with the Italian Ministry of Economy and Finance, Confindustria and ABI to support and accelerate business growth.
